This is page 8 of 12. "Eternity" begins here.

But let’s turn our attention to our beautiful self. We will all be physically perfect, right?

I Peter 1:23 - Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

I don’t know about you but I’m going to want grooming products for myself.

I need shampoo, soap, hair care products like scissors; maybe some gel. If I’m going to be pretty like a model, for all of eternity, I sure want to pamper myself. Therefore there has to be grooming products.

Next; Jesus says there will be restaurants.

There has to be; now follow me here. In Matt. 12:24, 25, Jesus replied, “Your mistake is that you don’t know the Scriptures, and you don’t know the power of God. For when the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage.”

I want to eat, but without a wife who will make my meals? Therefore there must be restaurants, right? Must be. When I drop my tools for a break, I'll just scoot over to my favorite restaurant and Voilà!, I can make time with the cute waitress while I enjoy a most delicious meal.

According to Ezekiel 47:10 I can have fish. And Isaiah 25:6 says I can have a meal of meat. I like lamb.

Something just occurred to me. Maybe I should start my own religion. I will call it "The Church of Incorruptible Eternity." I can use this Web page as my church's manifesto. Don't you think this description of eternity will draw many people to Christ?

Now before anybody gets all bent out of shape, I’m just having some fun here. The Bible doesn’t say anything about much of what I just said about there being industry, but in I Cor. 2:9 it does say that “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”

It seems to me that just about anything we can imagine, we can have and/or do in eternity. God wants us to be filled with joy and love for him. I personally think he’s going to spoil us rotten!

So, will there be more industries? Will we each get to do something we love doing, as work?

Rev 21:13 - And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this down: Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, they are blessed indeed, for they will rest from their hard work; for their good deeds follow them!”

The key words here, being "rest from their hard work;" which leads me to believe we can work, but we won't have to. We will want to and I believe God will give each of us personal responsibility. He knows what fulfills us.

I think it would get pretty boring going through all of eternity without doing something constructive. After all, it is in our nature to gain great satisfaction out of accomplishment, is it not?

Because it is in our nature to accomplish, I would think that each of us could find something we love to do. Then we would choose to do that in service to all others, rather than for personal $$$ gain. Selfishness will be nonexistent.

And seeing as how everybody will have the same mindset, it makes sense that a monetary trade medium will be unnecessary. Nobody will feel cheated and we will all be happy to go out of our way to help others. What a world to live in!!

The surrounding marshes of The Dead Sea will be sources of salt.

Ezekiel 47:11 - But the marshes and swamps will not be purified; they will still be salty.

I wonder if we'll be salting the food at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. After all, in eternity we'll be living under the direct sustaining power of God.

The curse is removed, no more death, the Tree of Life!? Does that mean we can eat salt like it's going out of style without any detrimental effects on our body? Hmmm, I wonder?

Prayer will be answered before we are finished asking.

Isaiah 65:24 - I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!

Imagine not only having all your prayers answered, but having them answered before you’re even finished asking God!”
