This is page 9 of 12. "Eternity" begins here.

Will we know each other in heaven?

Yes!

I Cor. 13:12 - “but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.”

Luke 16:25, 27, 28 - “But Abraham said to him, ‘Son, remember that during your lifetime you had everything you wanted, and Lazarus had nothing...27“Then the rich man said, ‘Please, Father Abraham, at least send him to my father’s home. 28 For I have five brothers..."

And we'll know each other better...

as well as getting more out of the little things in life.

I Cor 13:12 - Now we see things imperfectly as in a cloudy mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity.

Imagine all our senses substantially more acute than in this world. We'll see better; hear better; we'll taste more of the delicious flavors when we eat. And the food will have more and purer flavors. Oh - - - maybe we won't have to salt the food after all.

We will be singing and playing instruments.

Imagine belting one out and playing your choice of musical instrument. There will be no more sorrow, only joy and gladness.

Notice these next two verses are identical.

Isaiah 35:10 - Those who have been ransomed by the Lord will return. They will enter Jerusalem singing, crowned with everlasting joy. Sorrow and mourning will disappear, and they will be filled with joy and gladness.

Isaiah 51:11 - Those who have been ransomed by the Lord will return. They will enter Jerusalem singing, crowned with everlasting joy. Sorrow and mourning will disappear, and they will be filled with joy and gladness.

Psalms 87:7 - The singers as well as the players on instruments shall say, All my springs (my sources of life and joy) are in you [city of our God].

God Almighty, Himself, will joyfully sing to us!

For this, I cannot wait!

Zephaniah 3:17 - “For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty Savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”

The sun will shine 7 times as brightly.

And the moon will shine like the sun does now.

Therefore, there will be no night time.

There will be plenty of space for you and your very own livestock. Plenty of water, flowing from the hills, to water everything you own.

Isaiah 30:23-26 - Then the Lord will bless you with rain at planting time. There will be wonderful harvests and plenty of pastureland for your livestock.

- The oxen and donkeys that till the ground will eat good grain, its chaff blown away by the wind.

- In that day, when your enemies are slaughtered and the towers fall, there will be streams of water flowing down every mountain and hill.

- The moon will be as bright as the sun, and the sun will be seven times brighter—like the light of seven days in one! So it will be when the Lord begins to heal his people and cure the wounds he gave them.
